WHAT'S HAPPENING AT GROVE AVENUE...
Check out the
FARMER'S MARKET
COMES TO THE GROVE AVENUE UMC PARKING LOT! The Moxham
United Methodist Cooperative Ministry's Farmers Market will continue
in September each Thursday evening from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the
Grove Avenue parking lot. It is a great opportunity to get
fresh fruits and vegetables locally and to meet our Moxham
neighbors! The
Cooperative Ministry will sell Apple Dumplings at the Farmer's
Market September 23, 30, and October 7.

FOOD PANTRY NEWS Beginning
Wednesday, September 1 the Park Avenue Food Pantry will be open ONLY
on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 9:00am until
12:00pm. A complete list of Food Pantry dates is posted on the
bulletin board.
Moxham Ministerium Sponsors Public Prayer Walk
The Moxham Ministerium
will sponsor a Public Prayer Walk on Sunday, September 26 at 12:30pm
after the Traditional Worship Service. Everyone is asked to
meet at Moxham Lutheran Church. Join us as we pray for our
Moxham Community and engage in public reading of the scripture.

Rally Day - Sunday, September 12
Come kick off the Sunday school season with Grove Avenue!
Children's Sunday School will be held during the 10:45am Traditional
Worship Service. During the Worship Service, Bibles will be
presented to 3rd Grade students, teachers will be honored, and
Perfect Attendance Awards will be presented to children, Nursery -
Grade 5. Come accept the challenge of faith for another year
of growing in Christ!

MOXHAM WORSHIPPING TOGETHER AT ECUMENICAL WORSHIP SERVICE
An Ecumenical Worship Service will be held Thursday, September 2nd at 11:00am
at 2nd Presbyterian Church. A light lunch will follow the
service. This special service is sponsored by the Moxham
Ministerium.
